Humboldt University Berlin, Germany
There is only a limited number of places, so don’t hesitate and register now!
The conference will take place in the “Senatssaal” of the Humboldt Universität zu Berlin (Unter den Linden 6). There will be a preconference meeting on Thursday, 24 February 2011 with a reception at 17:00 followed by an (optional) diner at the Restaurant “Berliner Republik” which is within walking distance of the university building. On Friday, 25 February 2011, the conference will start at 09:30 and finish at 16:30.
The aim of this conference is to create awareness for the Open Access future of academic monographs in the humanities and social sciences. Of course, the results of the OAPEN project will be presented, but there are also internationally-recognised speakers from the various stakeholder groups involved in book publishing in the humanities and social sciences: rectors, librarians, funders of research and publishers. More.
